I aquired Dan from Dean Thompson in the summer of 2006.  I had bought dogs from Dean before and he had never dome me wrong. I am very greatful that he let me purchase this fine hound.  In the fall of 2008 I got the chance to purchase CH 'PR' Triple N's Snake Doctor from long time breeder Glynn Beaty.  This was my first purchase from Glynn.  I am ver pleased with the results.

I bought Dan in June of 2006 from Dean.  I hunted him nearly every night for the first month that I got him. Right from the start I could tell he was an honest strike dog and a hard pressure tree dog.  In July of 2006 Dan was entered into his first hunt with me as owner, and a buddy of mine handled him..  The hunt was a two night hunt for a King and Queen of hunt.  On the first night Dan got a second place cast win.  The following night Dan came in with a cast win and a first place giving him the King of hunt title for 2006 with an overall score of 775+ for two nights.  This past July, I went to the same hunt with hopes of a repeat title defence. However, I was unable to hunt on Friday night.  I did go back Saturday night, and hunted.  Dan scored 312 1/2+.  He won his cast.  He placed first in the hunt, and was crowned King of Hunt for the second year in a row.

I had the pleasure of buying Snake Doctor in 2008 from Glynn Beaty.  Snake is a dog that is eager to please and will hunt close to you.  He doesn't have a very loud mouth, but makes up for it in determination.  Snake will be a performance sire in 2010.  If you want pups with tree power and determination Snake is the stud to use  Price on Snake Doctor pups will be $100.

I have raised three litters out of Dan and two different females. The first litter should be around three years old, and I am getting good reports back on them the next two litters will be turning two this year.  I kept three pups out of the first litter born in 2007 and they are doing great in the woods.  My mother kept a female out of the last 2007 litter and she has more heart and ability than any dog we have raised.  Dan puts good looking pups on the ground.  Pups that have the ability to get the job done, and done right.
