I aquired both of these fine hounds from Dean Thompson, owner of Thompson Hillbilly Kennel.  I have bought dogs from Dean ever since I started my own kennel and he has never done me wrong.  I am very greatful he let me purchase these fine hounds.

NITECH GRCH 'PR' MM THOMPSONS HILLBILLY DAN. 2007 PERFORMANCE SIRE

I bought Dan in June of 2006 from Dean.  I hunted him nearly every night for the first month that I got him. Right from the start I could tell he was an honest strike dog and a hard pressure tree dog.  In July of 2006 Dan was entered into his first hunt with me as owner, and a buddy of mine handled him..  The hunt was a two night hunt for a King and Queen of hunt.  On the first night Dan got a second place cast win.  The following night Dan came in with a cast win and a first place giving him the King of hunt title for 2006 with an overall score of 775+ for two nights.  This past July, I went to the same hunt with hopes of a repeat title defence. However, I was unable to hunt on Friday night.  I did go back Saturday night, and hunted.  Dan scored 312 1/2+.  He won his cast.  He placed first in the hunt, and was crowned King of Hunt for the second year in a row.

Style is the young dog in the photo at the bottom of this page.  I bought Style when he was 13 months old, and he had never seen a coon.  I hunted him with dan his first night out and he treed along side Dan. Style is a do it yourselfer, he likes to hunt by himself, yet he will hint with another dog.  He is a hard pressure tree dog that will have the meat.  I have bred him to my Smooth Talking Jodie's Jed female and she should have pups anytime.  Price on these pups is $100.
I have raised two litters of pups from Dan.  The first litter of pups are around 11 months old and the reports I am getting back on them are great. The second litter is 10 weeks old, but they have already been in the woods and two of them have alredy treed on a squirrel.  I currently have 4 males and three females.  I am asking $150 for them.
